About Us
We Recreate Long Lasting Sri Lankan Coloured Fabrics History
History of Sri Lankan Textile
The historic textile industry in Sri Lanka dates back to 543 B.C. The most ancient proof of cotton industry in Lanka is that the Yakkha tribal princess named Kuveni had been spinning cotton when prince Vijaya arrived, which is one of the several documented examples of our storied history.
Another mythology evidenced the invention of the mechanical sewing machine by the late king Ravana. Since then, the textile industry in Sri Lanka has grown tremendously, contributing significantly to the country’s economy.

Our Story
We, the current heirs of this industry in Sri Lanka, have descended from such an illustrious lineage. The concept of herbal textiles has been derived from traditional Sri Lankan (Hela) medicine, the ancient local healthcare method. By bringing these two histories together,
We re-invented the natural colour textile process and brought it to the globe. During this procedure, we had the opportunity to add a new value to our traditional medicine by developing colours with medicinal characteristics that are both healthful and gentle to the skin.

Our Mission
